Dog Training at Bayside Pet Resort

Each of our locations offers a unique variety of training options to fit your dog’s needs and your family’s schedule. Our professional dog trainers are experienced in everything from basic obedience to advanced skills, always focusing on gentle, reward-based learning that makes training enjoyable for both you and your pup.

Our professional adult and puppy training programs include:

Private Dog Training

For pups who need more one-on-one training, we offer private training sessions with our experienced dog trainers. Collaborate with our team to create personal training goals for your pup and watch them grow in their confidence and skills. Prices for these training sessions may vary depending on location.

Group Classes

Our group puppy training classes are the perfect way to help your dog learn good manners and socialize with other pups in a fun, structured setting. Led by our professional dog trainers, these sessions focus on real-world obedience skills that make daily life easier for both you and your pet.

We offer programs like Puppy Kindergarten for young learners, Basic Obedience for foundational skills, and even specialized dog sport classes such as agility. Classes typically run for four to six weeks, allowing your dog plenty of time to learn, practice, and build confidence. Prices vary depending on the class type and location.

Day School

Whether you’re teaching an old dog new tricks or basic manners for your puppy, our day school program gives your furry friend the chance to learn something new. Drop your dog off with our day school trainer, Mark Chiampo, who will work with your pup to help them build confidence and reach their full potential.

Each session is 4 hours long, and you can schedule as many classes as your pup needs to reach their goals. Once your pup has reached their training goal, you can schedule a 30-minute session with Mark to go over what they’ve learned and how you can reinforce those skills at home.

Tracey Lieske: Training Instructor (Lakewood Ranch)

Tracey’s journey in dog training began at the age of 8 when he took his young farm collie to a basic obedience class. After his first taste of training, he enrolled in as many classes as he could find. Eventually, he developed into a specialist for bird hunting dogs. Throughout his 50+ years of experience in training, he has earned his title as one of the “Top Five Trainers in the South” (Garden & Gun Magazine).

His love of recreational bird hunting turned into training every weekend in high school with bird hunting breeds. His first job in the industry occurred naturally when he was invited to a hunting club and was offered a training position on the spot after the owner saw him in action. From that point, his reputation grew across the country and he was called to several states where he began focusing on behavioral correction.

Tracey’s training ideology is to think like a dog, but only the smartest one. Now that he is working with dogs who are pets, he’s driven by his ability to make parents proud to say “That’s my dog, I’m comfortable taking them anywhere with me.
