Angeline Pantazis, Regional Director of Operations
Leaving the hustle and bustle of Central Massachusetts for the warmth and glow of Sarasota, Florida, Angeline now finds herself overseeing the daily operations of each Bayside Pet Resort facility as the Vice President of Operations.
Surrounding herself with a wonderful management team full of talented pet professionals, Angeline has grown with the company as they expanded from their flagship location in Sarasota, South to Osprey, and then East to Lakewood Ranch.
She is a motivational leader who prioritizes 5-star customer service and top-quality care. Her goal is to ensure that your precious pets are happy, healthy, and treated like family.
Holding a background in administrative management, her leadership skills and passion for success were the backbones of much that Bayside has accomplished in the past few years. Topping it off with a positive attitude and excellent communication, our staff’s cohesion and proficiency are all thanks to her business strategies.
Continuing with Bayside’s philosophies, family values, and philanthropic spirit, she has created a welcoming environment that keeps lasting relationships with business partners, the local community, and clients.
Angeline kept her focus on Public Relations while earning a bachelor’s degree in Arts in Communications from Worcester State University. In order to offer 5-star quality pet care, she has continued to educate herself and strive for excellence in the industry. She is a member of the International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA), an industry organization that requires members to maintain strict standards for pet care. Angeline also attends several pet boarding and daycare conferences, studies and receives certification for infectious disease management, and became a notary to continue succeeding in all areas. Her hardworking drive has landed Bayside Pet Resorts many awards and certificates from local and national organizations.
She currently resides in Sarasota with her spoiled Yorkie mix Lola, her crazy Calico Maggie, and her husband Russ, of course (as if he is the last inline). If you see her strolling by, please stop her to say hello!
Lori Hines, General Manager – Osprey

Soon, the Sunshine State called to her again she made the decision to return to Florida to be closer to family and pursue a career in animal care.
Immediately upon beginning at Bayside Pet Resort of Osprey in 2016, she realized nothing made her feel as fulfilled as she has while working with animals! At home, Lori has two dogs that fill her heart with love— Leena, a Staffordshire Terrier Mix and Scarlett, a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon.
Lori’s work ethic and dedication to our clients quickly saw her progress to Receptionist Supervisor, then Assistant General Manager, and now to General Manager.

Christy, General Manager – North Port
Christy grew up on the Alabama/Georgia border, residing there until her mid-20s. During this period, she and her family were deeply involved in raising Rottweilers and Mini Poodles, sparking her lifelong passion for animal care. Christy gained extensive experience in training, working in boarding facilities, and assisting in veterinary offices.
Seeking new horizons, Christy relocated to Tulsa, OK, where she embarked on a seven-year journey with Planet Fitness. Starting at the front desk, she steadily climbed the career ladder, eventually attaining the position of Assistant Director of Operations for the local franchise.
Driven by a desire for warmer climates, Christy made her way back to the South. Over the next two years, she immersed herself in the world of horse eventing barns and private breeding facilities, gaining valuable insights into animal care.
Christy’s journey with Bayside Pet Resort in Lakewood Ranch began when she picked up her sister’s dog. Enchanted by the facility, she patiently waited for the right opportunity to join the team, particularly at the front desk. When the chance finally arrived, Christy seized it, combining her exceptional customer service skills with her love for animal care.
Starting her Bayside career at the front desk, Christy’s dedication and proficiency quickly propelled her to the role of General Manager at the North Port location within just two years. Alongside her professional achievements, Christy shares her life with Cane, a Velcro dog adopted from a customer at the Osprey location. Cane’s closest companion is Christy’s mom’s Chiweenie, Bug, forming a trio that never fails to bring laughter and joy into Christy’s life.
Taylor Weaver, General Manager – Lakewood Ranch
A Bradenton native, Taylor has always had a passion for animas and grew up surrounded by them —horses, dogs, cats, birds, and all sorts of critters. She brings years of hands-on experience and a real love for animal care to her role. Taylor previously spent four years with Bayside Pet Resort Sarasota, where she built strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
After taking time away and welcoming her first child in 2024, Taylor returned to the work she loves in 2025 at the Lakewood Ranch location, excited to continue providing exceptional care and creating a welcoming, trustworthy environment for both pets and their owners.
Outside of work, Taylor’s family is central to her life. She enjoys spending time with her son Asher, her husband Evan, and their German Shepherd–Lab mix, Atlas. Motherhood has strengthened her natural instinct to nurture, and she brings that same dedication and care to every pet she’s responsible for, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy.

Melissa Evans, General Manager – Sarasota
Originating from Titusville, only after getting a short taste of life in Virginia, Melissa ended up in Sarasota purely on a whim. She had visited her friend in the area several times before realizing it was just the change she needed and welcomed her new life and opportunities with open arms. According to her, she’s always been passionate about mountain life but claims to have stayed a Florida girl.
Melissa knew during her first tour of Bayside that this would be the place she calls her forever home. Boasting an incredible twenty years of experience in the animal industry, she brought a wealth of knowledge to our team. She worked specifically with Greyhounds in racing, training, and boarding. Before moving to Sarasota, she was even a proud contributor to the team of Greyhound Pets of America – Central Florida Branch. Working with animals, especially dogs, has always been her passion and she wouldn’t have it any other way. We are grateful she found us and to have spent the last eight wonderful years with her.
She now resides happily on the Suncoast with her three dogs: Jake, a lab mix whom she found abandoned at Bayside in 2015; Buttercup, a sassy little retriever mix rescued from the Humane Society of Sarasota; and Finn, a mix from the Humane Society of Sarasota that she refers to as a likeness of Master Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Melissa loves to laugh. If you see her, stop to say hi or share a funny story!
